Durham Mini Family Portraits

My sweet little crew of folks. My lifers. My client ride or dies. Always been obsessed with them and obsessed with their kid. Now they’re back, looking as lovely as ever and being as kind and gentle and hilarious as ever – this time for a mini session! And because their kid loves spooky season as much as I do and we normally do a slow-mo zombie picture (just like his parents did on their wedding day), this time we switched it up and he requested pictures of them all being spiders. See if you can spot it. :D

Britsy + Graham // Durham Family Photographer

Had a great time chilling on a golf course with this crew. Their youngest is a golf-obsessed baby so they decided to do their family pictures at their local club where they could showcase his baby golfing skills and let the kids run around. The golfing baby is quite good at golf and has pretty excellent form for a baby, although sometimes he does use a baseball bat to putt, but that just showcases his range. The oldest sister is into soccer, art, and football, and the middle brother is excellent at wielding a bubble machine, going upside down, and taking portraits holding a football that someday will probably grace ESPN. Britsy and Graham have been together since they were teenagers and are still just as very much in love, and it was so wonderful to meet them and talk about their lives, moves, and future aspirations for themselves and their family. Had a great time, 10/10 family, would photograph again.

Renaissance Family Dentistry // Durham, NC Small Business Branding Photography

I love meeting new folks and new businesses in Durham, especially when they’re right around the corner, and especially when they’re as awesome as Dr. Adam Bowers and his team! Adam came to me looking for updated branding photos for his dentistry business and they were so much fun to work with. His team consists of Adam, Kayla, Izzy, Sana, and Flor, and we spent the morning talking about national parks (Adam has been to 39 and counting!), wheaten terriers (he’s a big fan), and the wonders of HGTV combined with the modern miracle of dentists having televisions on their ceilings (a true sanity lifesaver). We had a very wonderful patient model that the team worked with (thank you, Kelly!) and we are pleased to report that zero whole mouth extractions had to take place. I loved working with Renaissance Family Dentistry on their new branding photos!
